Really great!
Wonderful week at Ko'olina

My daughter, wife and I enjoyed our time at the Ko Olina Beach Villas. OT-1004 was clean, modern, roomy and had a great Lanai. My daughter loved the beach area and we all enjoyed walking everyday along the shore line.
Wonderful place to stay!

In Feb. 2023 we stayed 10 days at Ko Olina Beach Villas in Ocean Tower apartment 1004. It was a fabulous place to stay and I would definitely choose it again if going to Oahu. We didn’t want to be in Honolulu so this was perfect. The unit is exactly like the photos on the Ola Properties website. The beach villas are two towers of apartments. Ocean tower is U-shaped with the “quiet” pool inside the U. It faces the ocean so we had a great view. OT-1004 had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen, small dining area with a big table, small living area, and a lanai. The master bed and bath were decent sized. The other bedroom was somewhat small but large enough for our needs. Our bed was comfortable though the pillows could have used a bit more stuffing. The master bath was huge, with two sinks, a deep tub, large shower with plenty of hot water and a great shower head, and a separate room for the toilet. The kitchen had high-end appliances and was equipped with everything you need to cook and eat. Everything was clean. It had a washer and dryer that worked fine. Bed and bath linens were provided, as well as a “starter kit” of dish soap, laundry soap, garbage bags, and toiletries. Our only complaint: The windows in the bedrooms of our unit did not seal tightly. When the wind blew—which was all the time—it made a loud whistling that kept us awake at night. Finally, the third night, we managed to put a T-shirt into the gap in just the right way to stop the whistle. This is something that needs attention. We spent a lot of time on the lanai—playing games, reading, watching the whales cruise by, and watching the sunset and stars. The apartment was equipped with clothes hangers, beach towels, six folding beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a few beach toys. We enjoyed the adult “quiet” pool, though some kids used it too. The pool itself wasn’t crowded, but during the mid-day the deck chairs and tables would fill up. It would have been nice to have a few more umbrellas around the pool, too. The other pool, for kids, was like pretty lagoons; there was even a shallow pool with a sandy bottom that we saw kids having a lot of fun in. We did not have kids with us, but this would be a great place to stay with your kids. The landscaping around the pools is beautiful, full of tropical plants and a koi pond with lots of fish. Twice a day they feed the fish, or rather, they provide fish food so the kids at the resort can feed the fish. We also enjoyed the little geckos that lived in the plants around the koi pond. There’s also a small outdoor bar between the pools and the lagoon. And there are BBQ grills in the kids pool area that folks can use. The lagoon right in front of the beach villas was wonderful, with calm crystal-clear warmish water and a sandy bottom. We enjoyed swimming there. It wasn’t crowded at all, not like the beach at Waikiki. There was a grassy area with palm trees at the edge of the sand; that’s where we parked our beach chairs, in the shade. There are three other resorts at Ko Olina that can be reached by a walking path. They are the Marriott, the Disney Aulani Resort, and the Four Seasons Resort. We walked to each of them and checked them out, and we were glad we were at the Beach Villas instead of one of these places. The Disney and Marriott were quite crowded, with lots of people at their lagoons and around their pools. The Disney place, especially, was a madhouse. The Four Seasons was less crowded than the others, but still had a lot more people than the beach villas. We were assigned a parking place in the garage under the building. Key cards were required to get into the building, use the elevators, and open the gate to/from the lagoon. The building was set up so that the elevators were dedicated to certain parts of the building, which meant that there was only one other apartment with a door on our small elevator hallway. All this contributed to a feeling of safety. Also, when we were in the apartments we did not hear any noise from the other apartments. Of course, on the lanai, you can see and hear everyone else on their lanais, but that is just how it is. In general, people were respectful and considerate of others. It would be nice if the Beach Villas had a restaurant and a small store to buy necessities, such as soft drinks, snacks, toothpaste, sunscreen, etc. This could be a great business opportunity for someone! There are a couple restaurants and a small store just a half-mile down the road, and also restaurants at the other resorts, but it would be helpful to have these on-site. We also ended up eating a lot of our meals in the nearby town of Kapolei, as the restaurants right at Ko Olina were crowded and overpriced. But it was a really quick drive into Kapolei, which has a lot of good places to eat. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay and I would rent the unit again if visiting Oahu.

We LOVE our stay at Ola properties in beach Villa @ Ko Olina. The Stuffs specially Gregg Hirsch was incredibly great! Very helpful and pleasant with our stay in the Beach Villa. The rental ocean tower specifically OT 1004 was very clean, the view to to the ocean was magnanimous! the rooms are spacious, the kitchen is up to date with other appliances. It was our first time doing rental and we would to do it again at this property. We are more than please with our decision to to do rental. Great Condo and Property
by Chris B
We had a wonderful time visiting with friends in the Ocean Tower at the Ko Olina Beach Resort. The condo had everything we needed and more and the property was perfect from the beautiful "quiet" pool, to the hot tub and fitness room and the walking/running path along the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better place to meet up with friends who we don't often get to see. Thanks for an amazing vacation--once again! We will be back next year for our fourth visit. Mahalo
